BOOKINGS:
The best way to book with us is to email us at infoluminastudio@gmail.com or book online at www.luminastudio.ca.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Because we value your time, we aim to arrive within a 30-minute window and complete our work on schedule. In return, we kindly ask for a minimum of 12 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
If our photographer arrives and finds we need to cancel due to reasons like forgetting appointments, the client not being available or unable to access the property. A fee of $60 will apply.
Exceptions will be made for situations like power outages, severe weather conditions (blizzards, hail, heavy rain, ice storms, thunderstorms, storm surges and high winds) or family emergencies.
TURN-AROUND TIME:
Real Estate Photography
All images will be delivered by the following business day. Typically, we complete processing within 24 hours from Monday to Thursday. Photos taken on Fridays will be available for delivery on Mondays. For twilight shoots or those captured outside standard office hours, please anticipate a turnaround time of up to two business days.
Real estate property videos, floor plans and MATTERPORT virtual tours are generally finalized within three business days. Should you require specific turnaround times, we encourage you to discuss this with our team during the shooting session.
Portraits , Event, Commercial & Aerial Photography
Please anticipate a turnaround time of up to three business days.
ID Photo
Photos will be available the next day. Rush service is available for an additional $10 (finishing processing within one hour).
Virtual Staging:
Furnished Properties: Before we can begin virtual staging, our editor needs to carefully remove exisitng furniture and decor from the property images. This step requires meticulous editing to ensure the space appears clean and empty, ready for virtual furnishings. Such photos (e.g.ten photos) are generally finalized within two business days.
Empty Properties: Typically, we complete processing within 24 hours from Monday to Thursday
Virtual Tour:
Initial Access:Your virtual tour link will be hosted on Matter- port’s servers and is valid for 150 days from the date of delivery.
Archiving: After 150 days Matterport will archive the virtual tour. While archived, the tour will no longer be accessible through the original link.
Continued Access: If you wish to keep your virtual tour active beyond the 150-day period, a hosting fee of $10/month will apply to maintain accessibility on Matterport’s servers.
PAYMENTS:
For Business:
After the scheduled shooting day, an invoice will be sent to you via email. You will then have 15 days to complete the payment. Payment options include: credit cards, Interac E-Transfer, or cash. A 2% interest will be applied automatically to overdue invoices every two weeks.
For Individual:
After the appointment is confirmed by our office, a deposit invoice ($50) will be sent to you via email. You will then have 24 hours to confirm the appointment by paying the deposit. *The deposit is nonrefundable.
After the scheduled shooting day, a final invoice (after deducting the deposit) will be sent to you via email. You will then have 3 days to complete the payment, before we deliver any photos.
Payment options include: credit cards, Interac E-Transfer, or cash.
WEATHER:
We try our best to proceed as planned regardless of weather conditions. Except for aerial photography/video.
Some properties or outdoor shootings require good weather conditions. In the event of bad weather affecting outdoor photo shoots, or aerial works, we will arrange a new time during our shoot or in advance via email.
TRAVEL:
Shoots outside of the Nanaimo area may be subject to travel cost.
COPYRIGHT & LICENSING:
Real Estate:
All photography and videography products include a single non-transferable license, permitting you to utilize the visual content for marketing residential properties intended for rent or sale. Each license duration aligns with the respective listing agreement period during which the property is or will be enlisted with a certified real estate agent. Should the listing agreement terminate or be annulled, the usage license will similarly cease. However, if a new listing agreement is initiated by the same real estate agent and property owner, the license term will automatically renew.
All photography, videography, and drone products are under the copyright of Lumina Studio Ltd. and its affiliated trade name partners and staff members. The licenses for these products cannot be transferred without the explicit consent of Lumina Studio Ltd.
